BTG'S FREENESS INLINE - THE ANSWER TO YOUR DEMAND FOR ENERGY SAVINGS
BTG introduces the DRT-5500 Freeness Inline, the next in its new generation of easier, smaller, smarter, lighter instruments. This compact, versatile and easy to use and maintain sensor measures drainage and maintains freeness on an optimal level. It will thus help to dramatically cut energy costs in pulp and paper making.
The new Freeness Inline provides results as Canadian Standard Freeness (CSF) or Schopper-Riegler (°SR) values and is suitable for just about any application. Through its advanced design and unique, revolutionary technology, it delivers the highest levels of accuracy and repeatability.
DRT-5500 Freeness Inline key benefits include:
- Single point measurement for fastest results and tightest possible process control
- Direct measurement and built-in compensation for consistency and temperature variations, for precise, highly reliable results
- Highest level of installation flexibility - can be installed completely independent of pipe angle
- The lightest, most compact unit on the market, weighing just 11kg
- Automatic cleaning with 50 C warm water for drastically prolonged manual cleaning intervals
- Fully compatible with previous installations - just take the old one out and plug the new one in!
- Based on BTG's standard electronic platform for advanced communication and control
- Modular design to facilitate servicing
With over 1,000 DRT transmitters installed in mills worldwide, BTG is a leading world expert in freeness measurement and control. The new Freeness Inline leverages that solid reputation and long experience to deliver even higher performance.
The sensor will be on display on our booths at TAPPI Japan in Nagoya, Japan (October 8-10), at ABTCP in SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil (October 13 -16), at MIAC in Lucca, Italy (October 15-17), at ATIP in Bordeaux, France (October 21-23), and at PAPFOR in St. Petersburg, Russia (November 4-7).
